Subject: Looking for Volunteer
Framing Carpenters
Calling all riders, Dispatch or
not.
As many of you know the Yankee Air
Museum was evicted from our temporary home, the 66 year
old building was contaminated with asbestos and lead in
the water.
Fortunately talks had been ongoing
with MIAT (Michigan Institute of Aeronautical
Technology) their building was going to be up for sale
and since it is adjacent to the land where the new
hangar is planned Yankee Purchased the building.
A build out is needed to conform to
local and federal rules and to make the building usable
as a museum and offices. The building is located on the
east side of Willow Run on Beck road north of Tyler.
Yankee Air Museum is looking for a
few carpenters with framing skills.
Starting in mid March 2010 we need
help for about 2 months 2 or 3 days a week 3 or 4 hours
per day and the workers can set their own schedule.
Those interested should contact Lou
Farkus 734-637-2117 and mention that you heard this from
the YAM Dispatch Riders.
