We will attempt to do our best to list as many events as possible but, please, please double check with the events host to verify times and dates.
(If you have more info than I do by all means send it on to me)

MEETINGS and Such..

 

  • Wednesday Breakfast Rides - In the winter, when we aren't riding much, we usually just meet at the destination between 9:30 and 10 am. Beginning Oct 1st the group will LEAVE AM Leather parking lot at 10:00 AM. Beginning May 1st the group will LEAVE AM Leather parking lot at 9:00 AM. (We will try to post destinations on the message board when possible

 

  • The Motown HOG Chapter Meetings are the 1st Thursday of every month 7:15pm at the Ale House of Romulus located at 27736 Eureka Rd (Between Inkster and Middlebelt).(734) 942-0185
    (MAP)

 

  • Motor City HOG Chapter Meetings are held are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. If a holiday falls on either of these Mondays, there will be NO meeting. The meetings are held at the Joy Manor Hall located at 28999 Joy Rd., Westland, MI (MAP). The meetings start at 7:30pm

 

  • Southern Michigan Riders Membership Meetings are held the 4th Monday of every month at Joy Manor Hall located at 28999 Joy Rd., Westland, MI (MAP). The meetings start at 7:30pm

 

 

  • Dispatch Riders (Yankee Air Museum) Meetings are the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10am. If you would like more information please contact Larry Amprim at 313-670-4176. BIKE NIGHTS

  • Star Riders Bike Night at Paula's' - Every Tuesday 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.  MAP This runs throughout the year.

 

  • The Grind Bike Night - Every Tuesday During Riding Season Map

 

  • The Blue Sky Drive-In - Wednesday Nights

 

  •  Depot Town - Every Tuesday in Ypsilanti at Abrays/Sticks Bar and Restaurant during riding season.

 

  • Moose Riders Bike Night - Every Thursday Taylor Moose on Telegraph Rd at 6:00 starts May 14  <FLYER>

 

  • Rack-N-Roll Bike Night - on Sibley just West of Fort Street every Thursday  (It was suppose to start last week with the band Helicon but they canceled due to the little bit of rain we got. It is rescheduled to begin this Thursday (5/14) weather permitting.)

 

  • Clam Digger's Bike Night - in Monroe starting May 21st at 7pm and every  Thursday there after. Live music brought to you by Detroit's #1 Biker Band Eddie Cooper and the Exit (www.myspace.com/exitrocksdetroit)

 

  • Sharkey's Tavern - Bike Night every Thursday 5PM until Sundown. Drink Specials, Music, Giveaways and more...follow the link for more information.
     

  • Gibralter Trade Center Mt.Clemens Bike Night - Fridays -no admission fee after 8:30 PM
     

  • Gibralter Trade Center Taylor Bike Night - Saturdays - Check with them for details.

                               

2010 STUFF

  • July 31st, 2010 - 6th annual Wounded Soldier Benefit - Event: '*BB* Wounded America'

    The 6th Annual Wounded Soldier Benefit - Observation Run $15. per person - includes lunch and free gift while they last. Registration is 9 - 11 am at Motor City Harley Davidson Dealership, 34900 Grand River Ave and Kooter's Creekside, Brooklyn MI (across from MIS tunnel entrance)

    This years recipient is Army Sgt. Nicholas Koulchar from Montrose, Mi who was severely injured in Sadr City, IRAQ/ Nick took a direct hit from an FT, losing both of his legs above the knees. Nick has been in Rehabilitation at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. since August 31, 2008.

    Proud Supporters of this event is Motor City HOG Chapterm, Bagger Dave's, Buffalo Wild Wings, State Farm - James Coleman, Hatteras Printing Impossible Tuesday.

    Raffle - 50/50 - Games First Prize: Drive a stock car 6 laps at MIS

    *** Ride Your Bike on the track at the Michigan International Speedway - additional fee to ride track is $10 Stock car ride-a-longs $79


     

  • August 6th, 2010 - There will be a parade for Thunder Over Michigan on Friday 6th of August. It will start from Willow Run Airport at about six in the evening and go to downtown Belleville. We have been asked to invite bikers to ride in the parade. Get there around five in the afternoon and go to lot E. That is off of E street which is the main road into the airport.

     

  • August 26 -28, 2010 - Bean Blossom Blues, Brews &  BBQ - This is the most awesome event every time we've gone it was a blast...Great Music, Great People, Great Food and some great  riding as well. Check their site often for updates.

 

  • August 28, 2010 - Edge Memorial Ride - First Annual Edge Memorial Ride In Memory of Edwin Jolliffe and George Gorno. See FLYER for details.

 

  • August 28, 2010 - Cycles-n-Seniors Due to unfortunate circumstances the BBQ dinner on August 28, 2010 will be canceled. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause for some of you. Hope to have the dinner again in the future. Will contact when this date is available.

    Thanks for your support for the past 10 years. Just remember the Rivergate Terrace Activities Fund can still use your support.
